It was good fun but a solid workout for my core. We learned the basics about breathing and flowing the yoga into different positions from the foundations. Anyway, we got a fancy hotel taxi to the sanctuary. We passed lots of Christian churches and pondered why Christianity is so prevalent down south whereas it was not half as out there up north. We concluded it must be because religious invasions must have come from the sea to south India rather than overland into north India.

... turned out to be a thin strip of black sand at the bottom of a breakwater of large rocks. The sea was so rough! Waves crashing in from two directions and such strong currents. We hardly went over thigh height and the power of the water was so incredible! We jumped the waves for a bit and watched in awe as some guy waded further out and survived!!
Sunbathing wasn’t really an option as there was nowhere to lie down easily. The waves would ...
