... people out as the sun does not retreat until well after 9. The rain stopped but the chill not so much. We stopped for a Reese cup shake at "What's Shaking" it was good, we could have used a spoon, Adam kept collapsing our straw. Then back up Davey street. The other side is filled with rainbows --- even painted on the street. We walked through an upscale neighborhood and back to our hotel. We watched a little ninja warrior and hit the sack. ... Brits Public House on corner of Denman and Davie provided a much needed Guinness or two for Andrew. All this cycling is thirsty work! From the pub we were able to see all the massive cars and trucks they have over here, as well as the sporty Trans Ams and Corvettes, but the cars were outstripped by the vast quantities of cyclists. This is most definitely a cycling city with designated cycle paths throughout.

... airport they checked in with me and once I was going through Secruity it was our final goodbye. I was a mess it was terrible hugging Lexi she kind of understood but Denise and Chelsea started crying too. All the way through Secruity and customs tears where flowing! Goodbye canada for now... ... pitch and putt and the Vancouver Aquarium (home to my favourite Beluga Whales).
It took us around 3 hours to leisurely walk the seawall. This gave us plenty of time to stop and take plenty of photos and really enjoy the experience. The totems are fascinating, views to the North Shore and Lions Gate Bridge are spectacular. In the afternoon the rain set in so we headed home. We plan to return and spend another day exploring ...

Up early with a walk downtown to the Moose Travel Network to organise some changes to the Rockies tour due to a transfer cancellation on the last leg. Then looking for a universal travel adaptor - sent the wrong one home with Peter - silly me. then took a different route back to the apartment to have a look around - but my poor old legs had had enough by then ( well and truly sore from yesterday's sprint haha). Stopped in at the local grocery store to pick up supplies and lunch. ...
