So here I am, on the wide blue ocean, off on another adventure. One problem, day one into my holiday and I'm already sunburned. One arm only. Doug managed to get a lot more sleep last night although I had a bit more difficulty! Not as bad as Doug did the night before though. We managed :) we packed up and left to get the bus down to the airport where our hire car depot is. We walked for about 10-15 minutes when we arrived to where it should have been according to our map apps. It was nowhere to be seen! So we rang them up and they said they were 2km from where we were!! ...
Set off later than planned. Dropped Max off at the best dog sitter in Dalmeny - our dear friend Jennifer. He is sure to be well looked after and enjoy Fergus's company as well. Listened to the memorial service for Gough Whitlam along the way. What a moving ceremony it was. ...
Today we travelled from Gosford to Sydney by train. Left Narara at 12.30 and arrived at the hotel at about 3pm.
Booked into the room and after a couple of hours we set of for the Rowers Club.
Had a couple of drinks and a meal. Listened to a duo singing new and old songs then off to the pokies. Jean won about $120 ...
