A week in Skopelos

A travel blog entry by flashpackernat

... I learn?! Then dinner was in another rooftop restaurant - tough life. The wine and cocktails are divine. (Mum, don't think I'm a booze hag when you're reading this I am simply enjoying what the island has to offer. Gotta sample the local delights - I don't want to offend the locals right?) Outside stairs led to an entrance foyer with nice couches and chairs. As you enter there are ...

... signed is done by a few volunteers.

This afternoon Pam and Bas led us along one of Heather's cleared paths from our apartment to a high ridge that provided spectacular views over Skopelos Harbour. The paths have cobble stones and were the original means of getting around the island in Roman times. In a future visit it would be nice to do one of the walks with Heather Parsons.
