... chatting to the crew finding out what crazy jobs some of them did and listening to some crazy stories about the film world in LA. The movie, Eden which is due out next year is definitely not a big budget blockbuster, it is about a football team whose plane crashes on an island leading to a lord of the flies and lost type storyline. There are some pretty cool actors in it, we took great pleasure looking them all up on Imdb to work out who was who. We met Diego ...

Having arrived in Mersing and attempted to make the locals smile in Port Cafe with no success we were glad to catch the ferry and escape to the Tioman Islands, even though getting on the ferry was pretty chaotic!

Having arrived at Swiss Cottage and seen that our chalet was literally on the beach and we woke up to a view of the sea every morning,we felt pretty smug that we had booked so long ago!

Our plan was to catch the last boat to Tioman Island and spend the weekend there with JC's brother, Jean-Paul. Unfortunately when we arrived, we were told we wouldn't be able to take the boat that day as a result of the tides. So we were stuck in Mersing for the night...

... by then I though it would be best saving for another day. I got back, did a load of hand washing, read a book then went for dinner with the French guy. After walking the entire stretch of beach we eventually managed to find people at one bar that was open. We had a drink but. There wasn't much of an atmosphere so we called it a night. The next day I was all ready for the jungle trek but it was absolutely hammering it down. I made it to a cafe for breakfast deciding to go when ...
