... are not domestic pets. We've easily fallen into the household, routine of walking on the beach with the dogs at 5.30 then back for a drink before dinner at the outdoor bar. Could get used to this lifestyle, though the location is a bit too isolated for my liking. Another lovely dinner and the kids then settled in the library to watch a film. The beach is surrounded by rainforest, I havnt researched the local animals but I do know that they have huge lizards that roam around and monkeys close by in the forest which pitched up at our apartments earlier. Pictures to make you jealous will follow tomorrow ...

It was hard work as the track was undulating and the conditions humid. The village was very quaint with a small school, mosque, a couple of local shops and police station. No real road, just access via a one lane strip of concrete road.

After breakfast we decided to walk back to the village. We extended the walk to the waterfall ...

... movie being shot which was pretty cool. Some of the actors were more revered amongst the crew than others, whenever anyone mentioned Ethen Peck, he was referred to as ‘Gregory Peck’s grandson’, hah hah. The actors and crew were all so nice to us and made our stay a lot more bearable but sadly we arrived just as they were wrapping up the film so only had a week with everyone. Call me star struck but I quite liked chatting with the actors and ...
