We loved the sites; roomy, grassy, shady and private.. amenities need updating but the massive pool was great with huge shade sails and a bistro. Menu wasn't fabulous, and it was overpriced, but nice to have a drink by the pool!

Jabiru - Arnhem Land
Today, Kasha spent all day with Aborigines in Arnhem Land. I stayed with Nell swimming in the pool and having easy day.
Arnhem Land is an Aboriginal territory where permit is required to enter. The trip Kasha did was a paid excursion with an Aboriginal guide. The whole purpose of the trip was to see Aboriginal art and their culture.
Nell's Birthday
Today we celebrated Nell’s birthday. She is 3 already. We took a day off not going anywhere. We had to rest after long walk to Jim Jim Falls. We decorated our trailer and when she woke up she was really surprised. What parents do for their children?

Kakadu or Kakadon't that apparently is the question! The answer was decided about 5 min before the turnoff. We Kakadid. So left turn it is along the Arnhem Hwy Emma was quite sick when we left raging temp so we weren’t sure how far we’d get but she managed to sleep a bit in the car so we made it the whole way to Jabiru where we …

Ubirr today, staying another night so left the van which means we can travel lighter & quicker, to look at Rock Art we had the thrill of a couple of creeks overflowing the road on the way in then when we got there treated to the most fantastic views from the rocky lookout we climbed not sure if the photos will do justice but it was breath- …
Day TWENTY EIGHT
After another night of being surrounded by Maui and Apollo RVs with their lights, fans and fridges going all night, we were pleased to say goodbye to Cooinda. We took the van to Muirella Park for a cheap $10 nights camping (NO POWER), a dry dusty empty campsite. Left the van and set off for Nourlangie for lots of walks Mum planned.
