... to ask this hotel/bar type place where I get a boat but they had no idea what I was saying....oh **** I thought where the hell do I get a boat!!! I had seen some tuk tuks going down this track just before the river so thought it must be down there, plus there was a sign to a crocodile farm so I thought, yeah must be just down here cos the guys yesterday were talking about the crocodiles that they were feeding at the floating village.....so off I cycled....bloody tuk tuks whiz ...

Siem Reap is a dusty (and a bit dirty) town full of hotels, guesthouses and restaurants of all qualities. The town was a village not so many years ago but has rapidly developed to cater for the hordes of tourists that now flock to Cambodia’s biggest attraction – the famous Angkor complex of temples. We spent a week there, which is the longest time in one place so far. We spent the first part of the week sightseeing.
