Woke up and had some water. The Russians, who turned out to be Polish left that morning for Bangkok and the French guy also left. He was on a tight budget but not short on time so he was taking the train to Bangkok, which takes over 5 hours, but only costs 30 baht! The air con is only on from 9 pm to 5 am in this pace so it gets hot early, though there are ceiling fans. left around 10.30am to go and look for the 'Sanctuary of Truth' which was nearby according to the map, ...

We eventually went to club maxx. A guy named Goran on the boat raved about it and had went their everyday for a month straight on his vacation. ... who couldn't be much older than I am offered us a ride back for 60 baht. She leaves to go get the ride, which we assume is two men driving motorbikes. She shows up with one motorbike, motioning for us both to get on. She wedges my pack in between her and the handlebars and I climb on in the middle, my dad in back. I figured a pregnant woman was going to drive safe and she did a very good job of getting us safely back...right back to the guy who offered us the 800 baht ...
