Marni and Brody were in good form today. There was an elderly couple sitting behind us waiting to be picked up by their driver who was stuck in the snow. Marni and Brody entertained them for most of our lunch. It was very cute and it definitely made the couples wait more enjoyable.
After our lazy lunch we walked back and the kids walked back along the wall again.
... was one of the people who had helped the magician with one of his tricks, and she brought along the souvenir he’d given her; an empty Coca Cola bottle with a 10p piece in it. But the 10p was bigger than the neck of the bottle, and the bottle hadn’t been broken. So how the magician got it in there is a complete mystery.
We scored 17/20 in the quiz, and had to take a tie-breaker with three other teams. We didn’t win. :-(

As on all Fred Olsen cruises, dinner was delicious. I started with smoked salmon and avocado, followed by Caesar salad and a tasty lamb korma. Then I finished off with some cheeses and a nice glass of amaretto. :-)
At around 7.30pm Boudicca slowly started to make her way down the Mersey, heading for the Irish Sea. Our voyage had begun.
