Travel Blogs from Yangshuo
Yangshuo is a little tourist town in the south of China, and probably the most picturesque (and last) Chinese town we visited on our tour. The place is surrounded by a karst landscape, and although I'm not entirely sure what karst means, it was really pretty because there were the huge unusual jutting mountains all over the place. There were hundreds of them but they didn't really seem to be directly connected to ...
The day started off a bit roughly as it was
my turn to be experiencing Chinese travelling belly. After a good few hours of
trying to go out and having to run back in, my stomach settled enough for us to
head out into the city for a bit of lunch. We stumbled upon a less touristy

Our arrival in Yangshuo was chaos, most passengers on the boats just come here for a day trip, but we were here for a week so had our bags to lug from the harbour. As we ...
... amazing and so was the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City. Okay, that's enough, you all know what they look like.
Hey, the music got good!
I took a very slow boat-raft from Guilin to Xingping, which was everything I hoped Yangshuo would be. Adorable little Chinese town surrounded by heavenly karst formations. Maybe Yangshuo isn't that bad but I only got here today and it seems noisy.
Hope you all are doing good!
