... Egypt but Paul disagrees, nothing new there then. It didn’t quite have the aura of Machu Pichu but it comes close. Here you have two complete pyramids one of The Sun and one of The Moon which stand along the Avenue of the Dead, with several other plazas and constructions. It covers roughly 8 square miles, but the whole area still hides many unexcavated sites. We did manage to climb half of The Sun pyramid but then it was closed off, didn’t attempt ...

We go get a phone card (2 actually as the 1st one ran out) and call London (out of hours of course by now) and get onto someone at Flight Centre Emergency Contact who then tells us that the airline has stuffed it and they have to unlock the “status”.

So it is now 2.45 pm…. Remember that TACA closes ...
