Least night I met a nice French Canadian couple who said they wanted to walk to monkey beach in the national park today. Coincidence would have it, or the fact that that is about all there is to do in town, I wanted to so that too. So bright and shiny, holiday time, so it was actually quite bright and shiny when we set off. Busses in penang are really good! I can't recall if I said this before. We took a bus and signed in. The bus was about 80 pence, would have been loads by taxi, but getting on was an aldeal, bloody miserable driver, you have to have exact money as they don't give change and he kept prompting me to try put my one ringgit notes into this slot, but I couldn't work the bloody thing, I ...

... the Hard Rock Cafe and had a lovely evening! When we arrived they had their Chinese New Year celebrations going on, so we finally saw a Chinese dragon dance - with lots of men holding a dragon on sticks and making it dance. It was very clever, but my videos and pictures don't really do it justice! At the Hard Rock Cafe we had jugs of cocktails and really good food - although possibly slightly too much food really! I was exhausted after dinner and feeling slightly ...
