Day 10: Florence
We started the day with a major bummer: Bradley left for home bright and early, which makes me really sad. I miss him already and I'm jealous that he gets to see our pooch and smoosh his little Louie face. There are a ton of dogs in Europe, by the way, and people bring them everywhere with them. We have FaceTimed with Lou a couple times to make us (me) feel better... but I digress. Anyway, I miss my husband a lot. Today's drizzly, cold weather matched the gloominess of Bradley's ...
A foodie city
We arrived in Florence at last. I've waited a while now to see what the hype on Florence was all about. The hotel was a stone's throw from the train station. It was the best location of all our trips, right in the heart of the hustle & bustle of the city. The room was tightly fitted with 2 extra sofa beds thrown in to accommodate the boys. We headed to Sant’ Ambrogo Market next. It was quite a walk. We didn’t think it was that hard to find but we got lost a bit. But there were shops along the way and the sights were interesting so we didn’t mind.
At the market, there was a sort ...
Living the life.
... bags cost money in order to take out of the store. The lifestyle they live here is ridiculous and amazing. After grocery shopping, Paige and I headed to Piazza Strozzi where we both had our first class. My first class was Introduction to Marketing and I had no idea what she was saying because she had such a thick accent. I than headed my Wine and Cultures glass, and again could barely understand him, however it was amazing and we found out we will be walking around ...
