... the main problem was dehydration, made worse by Sam's refusal to drink anything that wasn't just above freezing). We made our way on to Foligno - 8.5 km in just over an hour, though this stage was a little flatter. ... outside the city walls. Quite pleasant till the rain started! Fortunately, we weren't too far from Porta Maggiore, so were able to re-enter the city. No umbrella so I'd been hugging the walls till we found a cafe, and just in time, as the heavens opened. It poured and hailed.....shades of Ronda! Rather enjoyed sipping coffee and watching poor unfortunates dash through the rain.
