... having a better holiday then we are. Despite that, I do intend on logging onto Pets Get Physical's website as soon as we have internet so we can look at his nanny cam photos to make us feel better!! A sort of Blog for Dogs if you will.

We are headed for Villa Cicolina (if you drift off a little bit it sounds almost like Colioni don’t you think?!) which is a former country residence of a noble family in Montepulciano ...

... when we asked how many grams the steak came in, the answer was 900! So Sherry and I split the was just perfect. The only problem was we all had to walk back up the 'hill' to get home. Hills here are about as straight up as you can get without falling over backwards.

We did make it home, played some cards and then hit the sheets and I don't think I moved all night!

We've been pretty lazy lately, so we decided to try and get a little bit of exercise. There is a bike rental place right around the corner so we took a couple bikes out for the day. They also rented scooters, which would have been a heck of a lot easier on these hills, but we went with the bikes. They were super nice bikes, luckily. There is a small castle town at the top of a hill right down the road from Greve called Montefiore. I don't know ...

... over 100 wines. The samples were a pretty substantial serve and averaged about 80 cents each. Some were as high as 6 Euros, but most were only 60 cents. You can imagine how easy it would be to get drunk at this place. (We didn't though.)

The other highlight, simple as it was, was Claudio pulling over to the side of the road and telling the girls to try some grapes he picked right off the vine.

The weather was gorgeous and it was a lovely day. ...
