Last Two Days
Yesterday and today has been wet, windy, and cold -- thunder and lightening yesterday -- so not much walking about or touristing. It is currently 3 Farenheit (48 degrees) ... Brrr. Thanksgiving Dinner
Buon apetito! After two days of prepping, last night we sat down to a delizioso cena! Still at It
... the only guest staying at the Locanda. Every morning Virginia comes to get breakfast and caffe for me, cleans my room, and then closes up. I let myself in each night when I get back from the day's activities. The restaurant is only open on the weekends. I am picking up more Italian words here and there. And, getting much better at sign language! ...
Roma, plus sunshine in Tuscany
... big Mall was on the other side of Florence(about 100 k’s away) so it was back on the Autostrada for us. It was a good time out from sightseeing, and we managed to spend some money so it was worth the drive. I checked out a big electronics shop, and things seem to be the same price here in Euro’s as they are in NZ$, so no Iphone or Ipad for Andy (maybe in Hong Kong).
