... nobody else mad enough to be out on the steers.

It was something like the wild west movies. We were the strangers walking into a ghost town, with anybody out starring at us like they might need to get their pistols out ready to draw. It was ghost town like nine other I've experienced. Right the the town square in the central we continued with hardly a soul in sight.

It's an attractive town centre, architecture wise in a slightly Stalinist kind ...
