      ... to be looking for. We mentioned in the last blog that getting accommodation on the islands can be problematic. Supply is limited, especially on public holidays,and weekends when the locals head there to escape the towns and cities. So as we were arriving on a Tuesday, we hoped it would all turn out ok.       ... and the picture perfect waters and sand we found were worth every bit of it and the boat ride either way was good fun too, holding out hope for the other islands we are going to get too with a bit of luck....

      We had packed up and left by eleven and soon we were sat in the speedboat bobbing around waiting to leave, twenty minutes later after a flatter faster trip than on the way out, including a boat race we were back at Kuala ...

      ... in the jungle again! Two years ago myself and Jo had ended up in a dormitory hut with rickety bunkbeds, no mosquito nets and a resident rat named Matilda who liked to chew through any belongings she found on the floor. This time however Dom and I were more fortunate and they bhad since built double and twin huts with even more rickety beds but luckily they had a mosquito net.
