Hvar was a little disappointing, but mainly because of the weather, it was just rubbish....rainy, cloudy but still humid. People only really go to for two things-partying (here not our objective) and sunbathing (here not possible), so we were a little stuck. Luckily, two of my medic friends Audrey and Maya were also in hvar and ...

... and sat at the back to keep an eye on our enormous travel packs, the engine of the ferry began to belch diesel smoke and the sea were attempted to show us what sea-tossed really means. We turned back the other way and went to another ...

Caught the car ferry across to the island of Hvar on Saturday morning to Stari Grad ( old town). Yes, another "old town". Left Split at 8.30 and arrived just before 10.30. A nice "cruise" even if was just on a car ferry - the sea like a big swimming pool, flat as. Passed a few islands so have a taste of the ...

... had to take one bus to Sibenik (around $13 for 90 minute ride – along the coast – very nice). Once to Sibenik, I had to connect to a bus to Krka (less than $3). Problem….. I had to wait for 2 hours! Grrrrr! Luckily, there are some things to see in Sibenik, so I killed some time that way.

On the bus, there are clear signs that say *no smoking* and *no cell phone ...
