The result is that I was able to take some semi-neutral photographs of the apartment, while still being able to live in it comfortably as I prepare for my travels. Now you tell me, who wouldn't want to live ...

... featuring every continent except Europe......Asia, Africa, Oceania, etc... Oceania was very much devoted to the Maoris. In fact there was a great big Waka in the gardens outside along with a massive photo along the whole of one side of the building of a Maori troupe doing the haka...apparently these guys had been down here recently and seems the Dutch were very much in awe of them!!

Weather: 18C with winds from the west. Partly cloudy. Pretty chilly, actually.

I decided that this was going to be a day to catch up - considering we will be gone for three days to explore Belgium. Need to do some work and quit exploring and playing around.

Had class for about 3 hours today.

... a palace, but unfortunately was under renovation so we couldn't visit. Her museum has the world's largest collection (180) of Van Gogh plus all sorts of other notables like Picasso, Manet, Monet etc. There is also a huge sculpture garden that takes you for a very long walk through the park. The weather was beautiful and we spent several hours there and had lunch in their cafe.

Today my main destination in Amsterdam was the Van Gogh museum, the real reason I wanted to come back here. My last trip I hadn't discover that I liked art until my last few days in Paris, and so I didn't bother going. And not only did I discover that I liked art, but Van Gogh is actually my favorite painter. So I highly regretted not going to the Van Gogh museum, because it's the largest collection of his paintings anywhere.
