... with very low lighting, with Lenin of course taking the bright spotlight, so the darkness makes it hard to navigate the various steps. Blair had previously seen the preserved bodies of Chairman Mao in Beijing and Ho Chi Minh in Hanoi, and thus Lenin has completed his trifecta of dead communist icons, with only Kim Il Sung in Pyongyang left to go. We'll save that one for the next trip.

... about Moscow, brightly painted and domed it sits at the bottom of Red Square towards the river. The RUM building is that old merchants hall but now houses upmarket shops and café’s, we had lunch in the upstairs canteen, backed potatoes and cheese, we must be getting close to home now.
