... booked in to do the flying experience (sans plane), so whilst we enjoyed a lunch with Nanny, Grandpa, Rosie, Brody and Marni, Matt ate his quickly and went for his flying lesson. The rest of us turned up just to watch. It was great fun watching, there were groups of fliers and each had a minute turn in the wind tunnel...Matt did really well and went for an additional go at the end. Well done, Babe....whats next?

Snow, Ice and Panto

... tea and ended up having lunch there before the trek back.

In the afternoon Nanny, Grandpa and Uncle Mike took Alexander, Lincoln, Rosie, Brody and Marni of to a pantomime (Aladdin) in Lancaster.

Matt and I went for a walk to the Midland hotel, back along the seafront, through Morecambe village. We had and Irish and Bailey's coffee and then braved the icy 1 degree conditions on the way back...to the mayhem of family dinner.

... seemed to emerge from nowhere - this apparent 'self-creation' was thought to resemble that of the the Sun God Ra, or created himself out of nothing. The Scareb Beetle served as a symbol of regeneration and creation conveying ideas of transformation, renewal and resurrection. ... s. We then had the big family lunch all over again. No watching or talking about the Sydney to Hobart! We did discuss the snow and the impending snow storm. It has started to snow in Les Houches, which is great. The temperatures are set to drop in the UK too.

Tonight was an early night by most, Liz and Mike, Matt and I stayed up and chatted for a while about the kids.
