Danau maningjauWe arrived after the artic 13hr bus journey at brastaggi and headed to the bus terminal. Bus terminals are the worst place to be for general hassle we hate them "where are you going, what's your name, where are you from" it does not stop. I really needed to buy some stuff so we missed the first bus to danau meninjau and went shopping. We sat at the bar for a couple of hours watching the sky and reading our books. Before lunch we visited Reception and checked that we would get confirmation about our ferry departure tomorrow. We also discovered a new restaurant, new sitting area, the library or book shelves, the Infirmary, the Squash courts and ...

The time difference between Wanaka and Bintan is 5 hours, and it is 6 hours between here and the UK. That means that when we arrived last night and went to bed it was 3am NZ time, so it had been a long day. Tony was awake very early and made enough noise so that Helen had to wake up and get up. We unpacked everything, freshened up and went off for breakfast. Really great restaurant with many different foods because there are lots of Japanese, Koreans, Australians, ...
