You pay once you're at the top of the narrow spiral staircase, and then you have to climb a ladder to get outside for the real view. At the top of the ladder you squeeze through a tiny door (it's a little awkward) and then BAM you're outside and way above the main market square! We walked around the town and the markets. Ate Bratwurst rolls AGAIN for ...

We had a German sausage and sauerkraut early supper, followed by an amazing dessert called flammende herz--it looked like 2 spritz cookies on steroids, seriously, with a jam filling and one edge dipped in dark chocolate. (I am happy to say that some of my favorite souvenirs ...

... mineral springs continuously flow and people just walk up and fill up their cups. I decided to take it slow and only get a small amount. Turns out it was the right call. It was gross. My last cup was at the geyser - it shoots 12 meters in the air and they have totally enclosed it in glass. After that we walked down the street and had lunch. I just had a simple chicken breast with rice. At this point though I needed a beer to settle ...
