Then home for a well needed sleep, up for the formal AGM proceedings at which plans were made for next years meeting in the Danish waters of the Baltic (so that's next years trip planned!) and lunch on the pontoon next to Jonathan, another 60 foot Classic wooden S&S. Now just having a brief rest before dinner this evening with those still here and looking at plans for the next stage of our trip starting ...

... took our pizza to go and bought some sangria and had a relaxing night! Today we had a very eventful wonderful day! We woke up around 1030, had a hot shower, had toast and fruit and headed off for the day! We stopped at a coffee shop ;), bought tickets and rode on the canal boat, very interesting with houses surrounding it it was a very beautiful tour, than we went to the sex museum (very different but interesting) and got some delicious ...

... take advantage if either trip as the timings did not fit with our other plans. We visited a relative on the maternal grandfathers side, whom I had not met and it was a very happy and enjoyable afternoon. She lives in just about 30 mins from Llangollen. We did a day trip to Bodnant gardens which was a real highlight. They were so different and Rodger loved them more than any of the Kent gardens we had seen. We then stayed a night at Porthmadog which was a lovely old seaport ...

LOOK UP! There is so much beautiful architecture and it is easily missed if you are only focused on the garish street scene. Of course, also look where you are walking and hold on to your valuables.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help or directions. Many people speak enough English to point you in a direction, but I always ask more than one person… just in case.

Some cafes have Wi-Fi even if it isn’t posted on the window, so ask. ...
