The Finnish experience actually started when we boarded the Finnair flight at Bangkok. The flight attendants were very attentive as we settled into our fold back seats. Two mature and stylish Finnish ladies were in charge of our comfort for the next 10 hours. After an early breakfast and a great night's sleep I caught the train from Amsterdam to Paris. It took me a little while to find my seat. I looked up and down but could not find seat 14. Then the young woman who serves meals on the train told me my seat was in the Salon, through another door. I headed that way and opened the door. Here my trip to Dubai comes to an end. Somehow I like the anxiety of traveling. It has something mystical to tell the cab driver "Airport, terminal 1".
