Hey, greetings to all. Yeah, Kathmandu definitely needs to work on it's air quality. Ventured out again today with one monk attendant. Had a really good time. Visited three sacred caves. Very interesting and fun. Delt with cab ride better due to ipod/ sense of humor. Rinpoche feels it's a good thing I'm being exposed to the realities here. He says they don't hide the unpleasant stuff here ...

... an great night out in Kathmandu on the weekend equipped with a pizza parlour (with some of the best pizzas ever), a very friendly cocktail bar with happy our deals and 3 calls hotel reception on our return to the Hotel!!!! Not to mention hot showers and us remembering what it looked/felt like to be clean...again. Definetely our best night in Kathmandu...so far!!!

... called the Maya Bar and get a couple rum and cokes. After about 20 minutes, someone decided to put on Pearl Jam Ten Album and I knew instantly that things were going to be OK. How weird or dangerous of a place could you possibly be in if there is Pearl Jam and Rum, I'm in my element. Ended up getting a full on Indian dinner for a bout $8, i always wanted to try Indian food, so now seemed like a good time, until 3 hours later.
