We had a nice breakfast in the hotel then caught the train to Milan. The scenery along the Italian coast was gorgeous. At Milan we had a 4 hour wait for our train. Gary had a wonderful time watching the continual parade of trains come in and out. Our train to Bern through the tunnel from Italy to Switzerland gets in at 9:25 but we have booked a hotel close to the station. ... took me about 20 minutes just to get my shoulders under the water. But it was refreshing. Facilities are nice at this campsite. Very open to the outside air. The toilets and showers were even outside (yes the showers had doors still.... so nudie bits were seen!). Only downside to the showers was that they were token fed...6min showers.
