Nach
einer langen Busfahrt in etwas dezimierter Zahl (der kranke Teil der
Gruppe, hat sich ein Auto gemietet), kommen wir in Udaipur an.
Bekannt als das Venedig von Indien. Romantisch am See gelegen,
beliebt für Hochzeiten und berühmt als Drehort für "Octopussy".
Auf

Jodhpur to Udaipur
... breathtaking fort in the background built into the hillside (a bit like Edinburgh castle but more impressive). Again wish I could share the photos!!! Jaipur was called the pink city for a similar reason but it looked more orange than pink to me.
Our hostel had a room with an amazing view of the fort. Sadly that was all that was amazing about the place. The room was probably the grubbiest we've had so far, bed sheets were dirty, and the floor hadn't been cleaned in some time. ...
