I had an awesome day in the Netherlands. I was all over the place, but it was excellent! I had an awesome sleep at Jacquelien's house, and then she was nice enough to give me a ride to the train station at Heerhugowaard to head into Amsterdam. I got into the city by about 10am and had a few hours to walk around the city. I’d been here before a few years ago, so today I just walked around and enjoyed the ...

... which were really nice. There were only a couple of problems this morning. There was a really think fog covering the whole city, so much that you could only really see a couple hundred meters and then buildings just disappeared. Also, today was a holiday in Germany, so everything was closed. I mean everything. Even Starbucks and McDonalds were closed. You never see that.
