AM - Well it was time to leave Tomas, Monika and Henris and return to Vilnius, Klaipeda isn't the most exciting place to visit or live! Even Tomas would agree with this! Tomas is a most caring and courteous man, he is very kind to his father Antanas. If it wasn't for Tomas searching on the internet, we would never have found him or the rest of Lana …

Not a bad four-hour bus ride from Klaipeda. Vilnius is the capitol of Lithuania, on the opposite side of the country from Klaipeda and quite close to the border of Belarus.

We might be on holiday, but we still have to worry about getting our clothes ...

... my co workers and I went to a tourism convention in Vilnius, and it was a blast. There were many rooms with different themes, from Lithuanian tourism, European tourism, activity center, etc. I was able to try different foods, see demonstrations from the grand masters of Tai Chi, dancers from Nepal, participate in a few rounds of intense Foosball, and get a traditional Lithuanian massage. We had a wonderful time and I took some really fun photos.  Afterwards, ...

... After the walking tour, we opt not to go on the organised tour of Trakai Castle, but to do it under our own steam. As luck would have it, we get to the central railway station at 12:20, just in time to book a ticket and catch the 12:30 train. Trakai Castle is billed as a 15th century castle, but in reality there is nothing left of the original structure and everything is a re-creation of sorts. It's interesting to have a look at, but it is ...
