Orgiva, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands debdeb80Woodlice on the face. That was my wake up call. And people complain about alarm clocks. Very tired now.
Pretty standard day though. Funny bit was when we were on the beach and instead of finding a bin we put our melon seeds in a hole we dug in the sand. At this point a crazy Spanish lady started ...
... with picturesque mountain/ocean views. Our villa turned out to be massive. The nine of us are spread out over three big levels, with two kitchens, three bathrooms and our own private pool. Its easily the nicest place I have ever stayed, and a far cry from the hostel experiences I've had in the last trip haha.
We arrived, got some food, did some shopping and then made a beeline for the pool. Was a good night, though slighty quiet as ...
I went on a boat with mummy and daddy and Arnie. We saw a blue platform in the sea so mummy and I swam over to it. Mummy jumped off first and temporarily lost her bikini bottoms and then I followed. Then mummy dived off the board first because I was a little bit scared but then I felt brave and dived!
Motril, Andalusia, Spain ronnieroro... contradict myself we missed out Gibraltar as we heard the parking could be a nightmare! But the main reason I think is that we just didn't have a strong enough desire to return to anything UK related just yet. So we have just headed over to Granada, the main focus for our trip to Spain in the first place, we have heard so much about the area, the mountains in the sierra nevada, the architecture in the area and the Alhambra and the ...
Orjiva, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands piholland... canter the sheer exhilaration of the moment caught my breath. The sky was so clear that when I glanced out towards the sea I could make out the outline of Morocco, a majestic land that seemed to be floating carelessly on the glistening waters. When we eventually dismounted to enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch, every member of our group totally captivated by the beauty of the mountains, we chatted ...

Granada, Spain benandtrudie... to travel again. He gave me a lot of advice on how to deal with the settling down expectation that is so prevalent in the United States. As for Polly, we became quick ping pong buddies by day, drinking buddies by night, and soul bonding buddies during all hours of the day =P They will be missed. Two other colorful guys, Dominique from Ireland, and a Scottish guy whose name I never learned, were wonderful as well. I don't care what you're telling me, Scottish is a different language ...
Granada, Spain papapeta33... One girl had even been to Vancouver as a child, which left us to swap stories about places she had been and seen. Perfect end to an amazing night, one which we would've never been able to have if we hadn't taken the chance to meet some locals. Truly a life-celebrating experience with people I can now call friends. They say 'I left my heart in San Fransisco', but I think Granada reserves that place for me.
Granada, Spain eurom0eLeah and I were sad to say good-bye to Sevilla. This city had treated us so well. In fact, I called my parents to tell them that I would not be returning to the U.S. to finish my studies. I was going to live in Sevilla instead. Obviously, this did not go over so well with my folks. I wasn't really intending to drop out of school, but I must admit, I wouldn't have minded ...
