      ... 25 for the taxi - 7 from German girl = 27.40  SOOOOOOOOOOO it was more than if I took a taxi direct and way more drama.   Either way, I made it to the hotel and it was nice.  It had a big clean bathtub, a TV with the only English channel CNN, a swimming pool and sauna.  It was in the city of Prat and so after I dropped off all of my stuff, I went to go walk around.  There wasn't anything open and I thought how sad that so many businesses ...

      ... bags of snails, dried fish, women running around serving 5 people at a time, samples are offered and the men calling me Wapa (Beautiful) and following me around the market until they see my strictly business Italian grandfather come to my side. Our wagon was quickly filled with gorgeous, fresh products straight from the farmer. I never knew Spain had so many cats. I mean they are every where! Our dinner was in a restaurant where we were encouraged to enter by the owner with the offer of a free wine and the promise that if the food was not cooked properly or not fresh then he would pay the bill! Of course the food was fabulous. Our dinner finished with a glass of yellow liqueur with herbs? I truly wonder?
