My last two days in Tenerife

... seen. We had an awesome view of Santa Cruz from the balconies to our side, and the chairs we sat in were so comfy they felt like sofas. Our coordinators treated us tonight to some fresh wine and Sangrķa, and we got constant refills on bread--which I always love. Dinner was different for everyone, because we actually got to order our own food tonight (a rare occasion here). I had a salad for my first course (it was really more like cole slaw, but they call it "ensalada cubana") ...

Gynecology

It was not the menu or the rather nice surroundings which pleased me so much, it was the friendliness, charm and manner of the staff and other three or four customers. For once I did not feel like a tourist but as a visitor or traveller passing the time of day in another country where sights, sounds and taste are enjoyably different. Everything ...

Week3---WEEKEND---week4

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 11, 2014

This weekend we had the Session A people show up. They're fellows who decided to only take two weeks out of their summer for the internship, so they'll be leaving with all of us next weekend. About eight new students arrived, and they're all pretty cool! It was nice to spend one of our best weekends of the trip with them and see some new parts of the island.

On Saturday we all got in our big coach bus and traveled down to the south for the beach. The beach was called ...
