... walk through deserted streets in the dark, we had a taxi driver take us for 4 CUC (= 4 USD) to the city centre. Well, it took about two minutes. What a rip-off with all these taxi prices in Cuba! After finding a nice casa particulares thanks to the helpful staff at another casa which had already been full, we called it a day as we were quite exhausted from the long travel.

What is there to see in this town of 100.000 people?
