Before I get to Havana, I want to show you how different publicity is in Cuba. There are no outdoor billboards advertising Coca Cola or Havana Club rum along the highways. In their place are signs advertising the glories of the revolution. It is as if the only signs you see on U.S. highways are praise for Barack Obama.

With great anticipation we woke early this morning to prepare ourselves for another day beneath the surface as we were set to head out for two scuba dives off the Varadero coast.
