Before I get to Havana, I want to show you how different publicity is in Cuba. There are no outdoor billboards advertising Coca Cola or Havana Club rum along the highways. In their place are signs advertising the glories of the revolution. It is as if the only signs you see on U.S. highways are praise for Barack Obama.

... br> It rained the second and third night we were here and wow, did it pour! Still, the days have been sunny and frightfully warm. Varadero is a very nice place to visit but I am excited about getting away to an area that is more “Cuban” and less “Tourista”. So, we are heading out to Vinales tomorrow for some outstanding scenery, more music and lots of Cuban character.

We look forward to seeing you two again soon!

... we swim in a pool, had some punches with rum, fruits. Absolute relax today.
By the way, I forgot to mention, that everyone can eat dinner at the different cuisine restaurants, here in hotel territory. But you have to book it in advance. So in all week, we had three different dinners. Tonight we are going to Italian restaurant and gonna eat there and drink the vine. Later we went to Varadero center to visit some places, clubs. ...
