... 8216;four hand massage’, so I think I did well.
Met a young English Couple in the bungalow next to mine, and we pretty much hung out together for the rest of my three day stay there. There’s not actually a lot to do in Mu Nei, except lounge around the pool or beach (and get massa’). There are some sand dunes you can visit that you can toboggan down, but we have sand dunes in Australia, so I wasn’t overly interested. The big ...

If you want uncrowded place, prefer low-rise building (for those suffering from pyrophobia), away from the maddening crowd but yet close to all the shops and restaurants this would be the place.
Nice, cosy and homely.
Don't mind to stay here again if I do come back.
... a bit chaotic. All of us were like...WHAT IS CODE BRAVO!?!??! I was in the computer lab and someone said it either meant man overboard or fire. The Captain came back on the intercom and told us that everything was under control, but there had been some smoke in the engine room. No fire. Everything is fine now, but it was a rather exciting/frightening ten minutes. On our way to Ho Chi Minh City we had to sail down the Saigon River for three hours. We were weaving our way nearly ...

... border by bus. The first stop was a temple for a small minority religion particular to this part of Vietnam. It was a combination of Buddhism, Catholicism and the Muslim faith. The temple was amazing. It was so stunning and exquisite and different to any of the other temples I’ve seen in Asia. We stayed for a ceremony which was amazing to watch - after visiting so many temples in this part of the world it’s quite nice to actually get to see one in ...

The War Remnants museum was filled with information and graphic photographs from the American war. The most disturbing images were the Agent Orange victims. I had to fight back tears at some points, I felt so ashamed for my country.
I realize the American soldiers were victims of the same failed policies that terrorized Vietnam, and they are not to blame. The real ...

We visited the Mariamman Hindu temple, which was a lovely splash of colour in the middle of the city. The Notre Dame Cathedral was built in the French Colonial district, which you could definitely tell, with was a nice area, but didn’t really fit with my idea of 'Vietnam’!! The Jade Emperor Pagoda was lovely, very different to others we have seen – lots more large golden ...

The sound system was terrible though and I only lasted two hours but I danced my heart out it was wonderful and our table was being served by this wonderfully solicitous young man who had fallen for one of my male colleagues so it was hilarious ...
