... anything as strenuous- actually would have been lovely but weather was fast becoming rainy - and torrential rain began while we were having lunch. ( provided by the cruise) to get back to the boat we bought rain ponchos - we looked like a couple of drowned rats by the time we got back to the boat.
Phi Phi is ok - same markets, full of tourists, to be honest - been there , done that - ...

Quiet, not too big, the water was gorgeous and today there wasn't much of a wind so we didn't have any sand thrown all over us! ... similar to the lanes in Brighton. The island is still under construction after the devastation of the Boxing Day tsunami of 2004. This is evident today with introduction of a tsunami evacuation point high above ground. This point is also where the Phi Phi viewpoint is and allows you to see over the whole island, it is truly breathtaking. We have decided it is in our top 3 views we have experienced on this trip - hope the photos do it justice!!. Again it was only a brief 3/4 ...

We spent our final days on Nai Yang at the beach.

On Sunday, the day Waynette stayed at the pool, she met a Canadian couple and quickly struck a friendship. Kevin and Krienn were on their way to Vietnam and then Singapore before heading back to Saskatoon. Waynette indicated we might have dinner with them and we stopped by their room, around 8 pm. to confirm.

Kevin said they were leaving early the next morning and had to finalize some visa issues. We wished them ...
