... sets in at around the two hour mark but all family members are surprisingly good sports about it all. Air Asia were very good -I'd highly recommend them. You need to preorder everything though, even snacks. They had barely anything! No alcohol except beer -it was a travesty! ... the wild. We got to speak to a lovely young woman. She would have been about 25. She was a zoologist from Scotland and was volunteering at the gibbon centre. She was really nice and very informative about each of the gibbons. She told us about how many of them came to be here. Basically, it was because of poaching in the wild. She said poachers kill all family members to get to the baby gibbons who are then sold to the streets of Patong etc ...
