    Tues. Went to reghed and had look around. Rohan went to football match Carlisle United. I went Out to pub in Stainton for dinner.     ... stood there and witnessed the salmon returning to the spawning grounds and trying to leap up the weir. I have never seen this before (except on TV) and it was special.

    I made a lot of good friends on this rally, some I already knew and some who I had met for the first time. Mostly people travel as couples, but on this rally there were four of us travelling 'solo' and all four of us were due to move on together to the next rally in Scotland.
