We had a great stay at this hotel. It's located just outside the main bit of the town. This is walkable and we enjoyed a few walks into town where you get to see some of the local markets. The guesthouse also has a tuktuk driver who will take you in if you dont fancy the walk. Staff were all really friendly and helped us book all our tours and activities. We really liked the bar/restaurant area which is so pretty and relaxing, just what you need after a busy day doing activites. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The room are very basic but clean and we had no problems.

Can't do more to help - Sawat is always there to give you a helping hand along with Ann!! We have a lovely stay - rooms are clean and well kept. The area is just outside of the town overlooking the river so it's quite and peaceful and it's only 60bt for a tuck tuck into town. Food is lovely - maybe a bit expensive depending on what you eat. Overall it was a lovely experience to stay here and we were sad to leave!

More street food and a night market

A travel blog entry by beauandcraig on Dec 30, 2014

... a dinner out of a wide variety of street food: dump,is and spring rolls, satay and noodles. Everything is served with skewers or tiny forks and everything is bagged up for easy carrying. Chiang Mai is an interesting city. It's like a beach town without a beach. The entire place is built around tourists, both Thai and foreign (farang as we are called). This is the peak of the season, especially for the Thai who come here ...
