All the walking and exploring got us all hungry like, so I found a very promising ...

... I was offered a beer from a roadside tout - which I gladly accepted - but then had a second. This then led me to a further establishment and just one more but it may have been two. The problem with this is that I'd forgotten to write down the name of my hotel before leaving and in my refreshed state I'd also misplaced my sense of direction. ... the bus departed from. After a brief discussion with a local it transpired we were in the wrong place (it pays to get to places early) and we walked the half mile to an obscure bus stop situated on the main road, wishing we had just taken a Tuk Tuk as we were sweating buckets and exhausted. 40 mins later we were on board the 12 hr (12.50 each), Volvo a/c bus with fully reclining seats and blaring on board Bollywood movie entertainment.

We stopped about 2am for a loo break in ...
