... we got up at 6:00 to stand in a queue to get tickets for a 7:30 boat ride in Periyar wild life sanctuary. It is home to 44 tigers and herd so wild animals. We didn't make the first boat. ... I even took a few videos as he was so crazy. We thought this was bad but an hour or so in we had to endure around two hours worth of the windiest roads! Not to mention a section of road which included no less than nine hair pin bends one after the other to take us down to lower ground. At the speeds he was going, with a huge drop awaiting us if he happened to misjudge the bend, I'm not actually sure how we managed to reach Ernakulum in one piece!

We have arrived in India!! The sail in was marred by haze, otherwise it would have been beautiful. There were new hi-rises on the left, and low buildings on the right. The weather is the same, hot and humid. Might have been in the 90's today and humidity was up there as well.
