      We used to come to Langebaan in the early 80's when I was in the Air Force. If you blinked you missed the town. There used to be a boat on the lagoon called the Big Bunny... I think. Friday night parties on the Big Bunny was hectic. 30 Air Force guys and 3 waitresses... Langebaan is a completely different town now. It reminds me a bit of what happened to Hermanus.... lost its flair through over ...

      ... front of the restaurant is known as the kite surfing hotspot of the town. Langebaan is where people come from surrounding areas to learn how to kite surf, scuba dive, or get their boat license, and is generally a very busy place around holiday time. I got the seafood platter, and after missing breakfast, absolutely demolished it.

      ... head back to the Cape. The weather was marginal at best and it was real cold on the bike without gloves, but luckily it cleared after around 20 minutes and actually turned into the best day we had had since our arrival.
