Our time in Tartu started well when I realised that the bus was going closer to our hostel than the bus station is, so we jumped off at the next bus stop and saved ourselves the walk. The hostel we are in boasts Green credentials, and is made up of almost entirely recycled and reused furniture, etc. This leads to interesting hooks, shower doors and fittings. Things got better when we walked across town shortly afterwards ...

A lovely town, feeling rather familiar, possibly because it feels Scandinavian or a bit German.
