... 24 year old English guy George. There was another girl there who had hurt her knee on a Grand Canyon rafting trip so she wasn't able to come on the tour with us.

Camped at Samuel Taylor State Park, under redwoods, per Alex's request. Alex is a big redwood fan, loves hiking, camping where the giants stand. Originally we were going easy by staying at Point Reyes Youth Hostel, but Mr. Alex insisted, and here we were.

So the goal today was to leave San Francisco in the rear view mirror, but the first stop was to get scheduled maintenance on Sue (the Outback), as we passed 6,000 miles for the trip over the weekend.
