... The tuk-tuk drivers receive a cut of the purchases tourists make. We were very happy we chose not to spend our time or money with these greedy misleading "tour guides". And by the way, the Palace wasn't closed until 1PM. It was open the whole day!

... tour we finished off some admin in the flat before departing for the Visa Office. We arrived to a find the office incredibly busy, but thankfully queues were moving very quickly. ... the monkey temple, but that was also a two hour train ride each way, so gave up on that. The huge outdoor markets would have been good thing to do but that's only on the weekend, so in the end we settled on the zoo!
