    ... echo and angiogram from Hanoi hasn't been much help apparently. Depending on results of CT - he thinks he will have to do another angiogram. This all puts pressure on heart and kidneys as dye is injected.So we will find out results of CT early afternoon - and then a decision made on the next step. It does sound that a angiogram with stent insertion is likely.
    After that exciting news I had to wait 1/2 hour for a taxi to take ...

    ... the past few days have been. One thing is for certain, Bangkok and it's taxi drivers will think twice about taking me on again.

    And so that's the end of Bangkok Part 1 (I go back to Bangkok but that is another story). Next stop on my adventure was Kanchanabri. Not a typical spot on the backpacker route but a hugely significant place to visit none the less. Kanchanabri is home to the "Bridge on the River Kwai" ...
