... like this. The driver approaches at some speed and nudges the peer under the directions from the crewman at the back by way of a of series of loud whistles. The crewman loops a rope over a bollard on the dock. The engine roars with a massive reverse thrust as the driver swings the nose of the boat out forcing the tail in and the passengers exit and enter at speed via the rear of the boat. Not too bad if they get the timing right ...
