    Wat Pho was our first stop, a 200 year old Buddist temple, the oldest and largest temple complex in Bangkok and home to a golden reclining Buddha. The temple was a beautiful mixture of white wash temple structures with orange, green and yellow rooftops, stupas and gardens with figurines amongst wild flowers.     ... general unpleasant attention than I had had all day!


    Out of the places I visited, including the Golden Buddha and Lumphini park both of which I visited today and did enjoy, especially the Golden Buddha, but neither was incredible, Wat Pho was my favourite. The Grand Palace, quite honestly, wasn’t that grand for a palace; it was quite big, very golden and there was lots of swords, guns and canons. That’s about all there is to say about it. ...
