... love the place – I felt like I could be in Colorado. Beautiful trees, mountains all around and that special alpine feel. We walked up Conical Hill and rode our bikes through the pine forest. The next day we sat in the hot pools for four hours and slept brilliantly that night!

... beautiful evening we made straight to the beach as soon as we had set up camp. The beach was deserted and went on for miles and miles. You will see that Heulwen paddled but found the waters of the Tasman sea a bit chilly. ... and we are only staying one night so once again we have got to know some people but we probably won't see them again. The lad invited us to go to the pub with him and the lad from Newcastle that we met the other day however when they went we were still making our dinner and as soon as we had finished they had already come back as there wasn't a band on.
