    ... began our two day adventure! Luckily the sun was shining as we started the day with a water taxi all the way to the other side of the national park where we'd start kayaking. Our guide took our group of eight out to Tonga Island first of all.     ... This was the place where we could make fires, yet no one was that keen. We were on a big dorm room with lots of new people, all very nice.     ... which took the coal down to the coast, and sometimes people up!!!! We were going on a train to tale us into the mine but first we pulled jobs out of a hat! I was to be a hewer and Richard a Trucker. We boarded the train and travelled into the mine. It was a fascinating detailed tour on how the mine was arranged on a grid system based on the chain (22 yards). A new shaft was dug every chain, at right angles from the existing one.
