... got gas and McDonald's before heading to the caves we came to see. Naturally we get lost in the mountains trying to find our destination. Turns out to be a blessing in disguise cause we accidentally pull into a bead in breakfast with a driveway a km long. We pull up to a castle. ... I saw the world, then the plane rushing away from me above, then the world, then the plane, then the world. I couldn't breath (literally). The air rush was so strong and cold that I felt winded for the whole 60 second free fall. My ears also popped and I was deaf and in excruciating pain for the whole thing. Apart from that.... it was incredible! The sunrise over the horizon, shining onto Lake Taupo and Mount Doom was magical. Amazing feeling.
