At one point on the trip the guide gets his trumpet out, and plays a tune next to the cliffside called the Echowand, and depending on the weather the notes echo one or two times - all very funky ...

... and cake 'unknown'. Turns out we should have consulted trip advisor first! The evening was sunny so we went on a walk up to a view point...as we started up the steps we realised this was going to be more of a hike, and that we'd be working off that BK and strudel! Which brings me onto the next point, we will ending our German adventure at Christmas. Jen's family are coming to visit over the Christmas holiday and are staying the flat, so we felt it would be the best time to make the long journey home. All we need now is some suggestions are to where to stay on the way back to Calais! But that's not for a long time now, plenty more adventures to be had here.
