... was however the fact we had our hub caps from the car stolen over night! This caused us to spend about an hour at the local police station reporting it, rather a lot of forms that need to be filled in before you can get the crime number and they took it really seriously!! Not sure they could believe 3 women coming in the station!!
Well we are now back in the UK with some memories of laughing a lot, wine, coffee and lemon merguine pie!!

We are preparing piles of things for one very excited 15 year old's trip to Madagascar. Connor leaves on Saturday 21st June for the most amazing school trip I have ever heard of. Two weeks working on real research projects with research scientists and biologists in 3 different camps on the island of Madagascar, both in forests and a beach camp. And of course the PADI course! Here is a link with an overview of his trip!

... have been a full 10-15 degrees cooler than Windhoek. The driver dropped off everyone and was I was last. He dropped me off at Skeleton Beach Backpackers. The host was waiting for me to let me in the gate, then she showed me to this awesome room on the second floor with a big screen tv, huge bed, and nice bathroom. All for under $40 thank you :) My room was in the first building, behind that building was the main house with the kitchen, yard, and the dorms for the ...
