... was however the fact we had our hub caps from the car stolen over night! This caused us to spend about an hour at the local police station reporting it, rather a lot of forms that need to be filled in before you can get the crime number and they took it really seriously!! Not sure they could believe 3 women coming in the station!!
Well we are now back in the UK with some memories of laughing a lot, wine, coffee and lemon merguine pie!!

... hunting, attacking, killing and feeding, but for the time being we were allowed to just sit and stare at these beautiful and deadly creatures. I can only describe the feeling as humbling.

We drove around each morning from about 5-11am, returned to camp for lunch and a snooze and then went back out from around 4-6:30pm. The gates to our camp closed at 6:30pm and if you weren't in by then, I suppose you'd become lion food.

... in the afternoon they teach the kids how to surf . They're mostly just there to spend time with them after school so if some don't want to surf they can learn how to swim or play beach games. It's a pretty cool program and I think once I've had a few weeks here I'll have a go at surfing and stuff with them That night my roomies were already in bed by 6 because they're boring so I went to the house 2 doors down and hung out with them. In terrific weather our bus took us down the western coast to the Cape of Good Hope, passing one scenic cove after another (Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Chapman's Bay).
