The Cape of Good Hope
... city of Cape Town on one side, the Cape Peninsular stretching into the sea next to it and miles of coast towards Gordon's bay on the other side. All surrounded by mountains and the Atlantic Ocean which was a bright blue colour... a spectacular view!
We hiked for about an hour exploring the amazing table-top and watched the rock Dassies running around on all the rocks, they must have one of the best views of any animal in the world!

Dos días en Ciudad del Cabo y en la Península
... amos haber hecho antes: huevos hay que tener para salir del estacionamiento de la empresa de alquiler de autos por primera vez; la cabeza se te hace giratoria intentando darte cuenta para dónde hay que mirar en este país anglo-conductil... pero no se preocupen; aún no pisamos a nadie aunque intentamos explicarles que así no se cruza ni se maneja).

... closing in 10 minutes (3pm) from when we arrived, so we decided to drive down along the coast and see the beautiful beaches and do some whale watching on our way to the next town, Muizenberg. ... ftigt waren. Auf der Insel angekommen, ging es zu einer kurzen Rundfahrt per Bus bis zum ehemaligen Gefängnis Nelson Mandelas und vieler anderer Apartheid-Gegner. Von einem ehemaligen Häftling wurde uns ein Einblick in die Abläufe und den Umgang mit Gefangenen gegeben, auch wenn aufgrund seines starken Akzents leider nicht alle Informationen zu uns durchdrangen.
