Last days in Lanta, my home for about a year.

Right in this moment I feel like the luckiest man alive. I am fully, fully, FULLY saturated with appreciation of this place. The language barrier that I'm experiencing here is quite comical. We're rather spoiled having English as our first language because you can almost always get by. Most Thai people know the basics due to the high influx of Europeans, Australians, Canadians, and many others that come here to travel. And when they don't speak Anglais, that's when things become pretty entertaining..

... night before NZ and just spent the time by the pool and doing a bit of last minute shopping. It was actually quite nice just to have my own space for a bit and be able to totally empty my bag and re pack ( warm clothes at the top this time!)
