    Started the day with a trip to the Makauwahi Cave Reserve. It was interesting drive on a remote road. This is the only limestone cave in the Hawaiian islands. Most other caves are volcanic lava. The entrance to the cave is about 2 foot by 3 foot. Sheila and I had to crawl through the hole to get into this cave. Once you got in, there was plenty of room to walk around without getting on your hands and knees. The cave offers a lot of history of Hawaiian culture. One room ...

    ... were looking for, which turned out to be on the way back to Sheraton Hotel. But again no success. After looking around we got some salads for lunch and decided to walk back to hotel which was just around the corner. Ha! Back at resort we went for a swim and spa.
