This morning I woke up really early as the room was boiling- even though the fan was on!!! I headed off to do the coastal walk from Noosa's main beach around the coast through the Noosa National Park! The sights were spectacular- I got a bit snap happy with the camera!!! The views of the ocean and little beaches around the walk were just gorgeous! …

This morning I caught the bus from Brisbane to Noosa, arriving at 1pm roughly. The hostel shuttle drove us back to the hostel which is only a two min walk to the beach. After checking in and dropping off my bag I headed down to the beach to watch the end of a big surfing competition. There were huge crowds lining the coast, cheering on the many …

Arriving with a mini van transfer awaiting to take you to your next home is always great. Halse Lodge is our new home and with a steep hill to climb, fire lanterns surrounding the restaurant and beautiful rainforest surrounding our new home it felt like backpacking in style, until we went to our dorm. A 5 bedded …

Sunbathing, Surfing and a Tad of Sunburn!

Since leaving Melbourne, I had been travelling up the Coast by train, unlike the majority of my fellow backpackers who had chosen the Greyhound Bus. I confess, I hate buses with a passion. The next day we went to Steve Irwin's famous Australia Zoo, where we held a snake, fed an elephant and got to stroke koalas and …

The oldest building in Noosa this place is amazing. Beautiful wooden lodge with balconies, a TV room and loads of chill out areas. Really friendly staff and all round just a great hostel :)

This house is amazing. Right near the beach, excellent food and comfy couches to read on the porch. Service is poor but just ignore the cheeky employees, they're not Aussie.
