We are counting down the days to when we leave and I have to be honest I am feeling very confused and very, very emotional.
One the one hand I am still angry with Mike that he put us in the position that he did on Christmas Eve. I am also very sad to leave some great friends and of course Sandy the dog.
I have given Mike at least 2 lifelines and offered to stay and on both occasions he says he must stick to his guns ...
... time he left but he keeps changing what he's already approved. We must have had 4 lots of changes now to copy that they approved weeks ago. It is quite frustrating. He's also just decided that the sun beds on the lower apartments are going to be removed and put around the pool so the description for these rooms on the website is wrong and he only told me this after I'd sent the copy to Agoda for them to add more rooms onto that site. ARRRGGHHH.

Tomorrow things take a more extreme angle down at Phanghan Wipeout! For those of you who are familiar with Total Wipeout, wish us luck on the big red balls!!!

... the main road to catch a cab back to Maeman police station. We got in a cab and agreed on 50baht each. He pulled over twice in the town and we kept saying 'police station'. We refused to get out until we were there.
Well we eventually got back and hit the cocktails soon after. We had a massive appreciation for where we were staying after seeing Chaweng beach. If you want relaxation then it seems Maenam is the place to be.
... any midweek flight was 6300 THB plus taxes each, instead of the 1100 THB at the weekend. This also gave us some leeway in case we encountered any issues with obtaining our visa. As it happened we didn't have any problems.
Before we left for Singapore we were exhausted. The week before we had spent 4 days away in Surat and Samui shopping for the apartments, working 7 days straight. We left at 3.30am Thursday morning and returned at 9pm Sunday evening. ...
